Grand Circuit

The complete La Ruta Maya across all five countries

Overview

The Grand Circuit is La Ruta Maya in its fullest expression — three weeks crossing all five countries, visiting the great sites, and experiencing the extraordinary cultural and geographical diversity of the Maya world. This is an ambitious trip requiring careful planning, flexibility, and a tolerance for long travel days. But for those who complete it, it is transformative: an unbroken arc from the Yucatán Peninsula to El Salvador that traces the outermost boundaries of Maya civilization at its height. Plan for 21 days minimum; 28 days gives you time to breathe.

  • Palenque, Tikal, Copán, Caracol, and Tulum in one journey
  • Four international border crossings
